This one got me scratching my head again. Stats are
NF7-s ver 2 (D26 Manta Ray Bios)
XP-M (220x12.5)
2*512 Kingston (KHX3500K2/1G)
Antec NeoPower 480
1*80Gb Sata
1*40Gb Pata (Boot drive)
2*18Gb Cheetah Scsi (320's)
LSI PCI scsi card (with XP drivers)
Leadtek 6800LE (Yes, it is flashed/unlocked)
Belkin wireless pci
Running Win XP home, fully up to date.
So... Every time I boot I go through the cycle:
Boot 1: Windows stutters, (a brief pause every second or so)
Boot 2: Fine
Boot 3: See Boot 1 etc...
Obviously my first thought was driver conflict - so I tried the bios trick to reset it all - no effect. (Can't remember the name - but it's the one that forces Windows/bios to redo all the settings after a new hardware install)
I checked my hardware profile and currently Device manager shows ACPI Uniprocessor PC (can't remember if this is the right one?)
Tried without the scsi drives, no change - have the latest drivers for the GFX/Mobo/Scsi.
Any other ideas?
