Im getting a nasty stutter on new vegas on pc played through hdtv

its especially apparent on panning scenes and appears to be some sort of refresh rate issue

7850 gpu
tv is capable of both 50hz and 60hz

this isnt a pleasant experience.

i just found that, is d3doverider also any use?

also, does the cpu have enough grunt?

New Vegas doesn't take much mate, I had it running quite well on an AMD duo core a few years ago. Not sure about the d3d unless you mean the overider in the stutter remover? Then yeah, it works for most people.

I've been playing FONV with an Athalon and 260 on my 40" in the lounge with V.little stutter and with only minor detail and distance draw reduction but vsync turned off.

The real only stutter I've had is when having 4 dozen Khans chasing me after offing Caesar.

You should be spanking it with the 7850. What processor are you running?

Thought I out cpu in
I3 2120

I think it's A refresh/fps conflict if anything.
It never happened with fo3 which I had on xbox

I will try some tricks
I'm trying to force 60hz on tv and in ccc but I'm not 100%sure it's working
