I have been using styleXP for a while with custom icon sets but have a problem now that the icons are incorrect for some of my HDDs.
I recently reinstalled a RMAed HDD and with the drive letters G and H (partitioned)
however, the icons for them appear as that for a CD-drive. This was because previously G and H were my CD/DVD drives.
If I change the drive letter to say M, the correct icon appears.
Its very annoying to me and slightly confusing to have 4 of my HDD with the correct icons and two odds ones in the middle.
I had a look at in the registry, localmachine/....windows/etc but there is no entry for the icons used.
I reset my StyleXP and swapped icons sets etc but it didnt work. I am guessing there is a line/command somewhere that has linked the CD icon to G and H drives.
anyone know how to sort it out?
I was going to just switch the drive letters but a) it doesnt make sense in terms of logical order and b) I installed a few programs on the new drives again (switching it may mess up the program)
silly mistake as usually my CD/DVD drives are X and Z to advoid confusion.
