Sub-£100 gaming card?

The junior Scoops have just inherited a reasonable gaming rig, i7, 16GB, watercooled etc, which needs an HDD to sit alongside the smaller SSD and a couple of fans on the radiator replaced. So far so good.

In addition, the box is lacking a graphics card and having never done much hardcore gaming, I have no real idea what to spec here. Budget is sub £100 and likely games are Driver SF etc. No 1 jr Scoop also has his eyes on Project CARS when it arrives next year.

My trawling around would sugget there's not a lot to touch a 2GB R7 260X for the price but would appreciate alternate suggestions and pros/cons before they part with their savings.....

Buy a new r9 270, stretch the extra £10. B grade could be a coil whine card, but it could also have nothing wrong with it.
