Hi,
I know I've done this a month or so ago, but i just wanted to ask again. You were all very helpful last time, and this is what i have down so far, it is to try and play games at the highest possible level that the computer can handle for this price.
So far i have:
Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II TOP 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail
Asus VE247H 24" Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor - Black [VE247H]
Asus Z77 Maximus V Gene Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium - Retail
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache

Zalman Z11 Plus Midi Tower Gaming Case - Black
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
OCZ ZS Series 550W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
Corsair A50 High-Performance CPU Cooler
OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black)

So... what do you guys think, the total of this comes to £1085 including shipping. I'm wanting to overclock hence the motherboard.. or at least i think i will be, are there any better options price/performance wise that i've overlooked? Also just to make sure that all of this stuff works together, i'm pretty sure i got it right....
Thanks

Right, consider this one before you buy anything. This is £8 over budget, but you get a vastly superior GPU, and since you will be gaming with it, that is what you need :).

1 x Asus VE247H 24" Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor - Black £161.99

Total : £1,108.39 (includes shipping : £13.75).

You don't get you aftermarket CPU cooler with this, I had to sacrifice it to keep it just over the budget, but if you don't plan to overclock right off the bat, you can just add a cooler at a later date when you do decide to oc.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask :)

Ok that looks great, the downgraded RAM/Motherboard won't make much/any difference? Also for the kind of gaming i would be doing, EvE/LoL would i be needing to overclock do you think, i've normally just used a laptop so i've not got much experience when it comes to these things :)
Thanks again

The ram isn't much of a downgrade to be honest. You could go for either of these:

YOUR BASKET
1 x GeIL Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (GD38GB1600C11DC) £39.95
1 x GeIL Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit (GD38GB1333C9DC) £37.99
Total : £86.64 (includes shipping : £7.25).

One has tighter timings, whereas the other has a higher stock mhz. Both are cheaper than the vengeance though by about £20 :).

That motherboard is well reviewed mobo, and people on here seem to have good experiences with it too. Allows for sli in the future if that's a path you want to go down.

With that rig, you shouldn't be needing to overclock anything for games like Eve and LoL. To be honest, for the time being you shouldn't need to overclock for any games with that rig, unless you are planning to suddenly have the urge to go really high resolution or go multiple screen gaming. GPU comes with a factory overclock too :).

Oh and btw, I left the same monitor and case in there as your original spec because cases are really preference, and I'm no expert on monitors :p.

Silly question, but is the 670 really a lot better than the 560? :) The only reason i was going for the Corsair RAM was that it had the lifetime warranty. Yeah i had a look around and the Zalman looked pretty good to me. I thought the Asus motherboard was well reviewed as the best for that price range, but i may be wrong, anything else i should consider?

Yes, it is far far better in my opinion. If you want to play the latest games at the resolution of that monitor on the highest settings and good fps, then the 670 is definitely by far the better card.

In terms of the corsair Ram and the Asus Mobo, it all depends on how much you want to spend. Since it is a gaming build though, graphics should be one of the top priorities.

Next question then... which is the best 670 card to go for? :D I am a student, so waiting for my loan to come through before i can start thinking about it, late September to beginning of October, is anything new coming out that might drive the price down by then? :P

Awesome, thanks :)
And lastly, does anyone else have any other motherboards that would be cheaper/better than the one I/ICE213 posted with? :D
