Hi all,

I’m currently gaming at 4k with a 4070 Ti which remains silent though my 9900k is running hot meaning the case fans and AIO fans ramp up so looking for a efficient cool running CPU.. I’m not really into overclocking cpu with these modern processors as the benefit isn’t there.. the 13400 looks to be a good CPU that runs cool and power draw isn’t that bad. I’ve got a H150i elite capellix which may seem overkill but wanting temps to remain as low as possible whilst gaming. 7600x looks to be another shout with better opportunities to upgrade in the future and can be had for £219.

Thanks all! Think I’m going to give AMD a chance due to future proof of the platform.. I want a new case as well to replace my 10 year old h440 which the fans are too noisy also

There's not much between the 7600X and the 7600. I went with the cheaper option with the plan to drop in a 7800X3D or 8800X3D sometime in the future.
I can get the 7600x for £1.99 more currently from a retailer with the same name as a spicy dish.. :D £219 for a 7600x seems like a good price?

Thanks all for your input appreciate it! I’ve had a few good recommendations for cases so will take a look there first as when my cpu gets to 70 degrees my current fans ramp up so loud it’s doing my head in and can’t figure out another way to stop it. Plus the case is getting on now anyway missing brackets etc
