Sub £300 max

I might invest into a sub some time soon i would want to spend £300 max.

Ive been guided into the bkelec direction, is this the best priced sub for the money?

I would get the down firing one in cherry.

It comes with 2 leads, phono to phono and high level lead, are both of these leads needed to operate the sub?

Its an exceptionally good sub, on a par with the MS309 which seem to be the only two good quality subs in that price range.

I have an MS309 and it was a toss up between this and the BK.

Strongly considering a BK Monolith at the moment if I can bring myself to part with the cash. You have to spend a lot of money to get anything that good from anywhere else probably around £1000. I've heard a lot of good stuff about BK, they make subs for some well known manufacturers and the fact they are British bodes well for support should something go wrong.
