I've got an old AMD-based (X4) gaming system that I'm upgrading in (cheap and/or second-hand) bits. I'm looking at throwing it into a cheap interim midi case and I'm not sure which to go for. Any advise would be appreciated.
At the moment it's in a salvaged Evesham C2D full case:
It's got a 600W EVGA cheapo non-modular sleeved cable PSU, an ASUS Strix GTX 960 (that uses a PCIe connector that sticks out the side of the card), a HDD and an SSD and a USB 3.0 card.
I'm leaning towards the Raijintek Arcadia or Xigmatek Ares 1702 for the increased width.
Both seem to be wider (~200mm) than the BitFenix Nova (~183mm) that I am also interested in.
Aesthetically I like something plain-looking rather than with fancy plastic accents, but beggars can't be choosers and I'm more concerned with function than form. I'm not bothered about a window.
I want something that'll take ATX boards as I don't know what will be going in there in future. Cheers!
