I'm looking to replace my 15yr old 21" Samsung IPS monitor and could do with some thoughts from people who've had something more modern!

Usage:
30% Casual gaming (got a 1660 Super) and typically happy playing older games in my backlog.
30% Lightroom / general photo editing
40% General productivity

The PC will also be hooked up to a TV for some gaming (controller based) so it not a particularly gaming focused purchase but I'd like something decent with motion.

I like the idea of of an Ultrawide IPS and expect that 4ms / 75hz is sufficient for my uses, but I'm concerned with the panel uniformity on the cheaper models in my price range such as the Iiyama XUB3490WQSU. The lack of curve concerns me with something that big as well and now I can't get out to a shop to view it's a bit of a blind purchase!

Questions:
- Any good curved IPS monitors in my price range (can stretch a bit if it'd be worth it)?
- Is 1080p too low for a 34"?
- Are the VA panels worth a look (AOC CU34G2 / MSI Optix MAG341CQ)? These are probably the only curved UW in or close to budget.

With OLED / micro LED monitors probably not that far away, i'm a bit hesitant to spend more at this stage as I don't expect I'll be keeping this one as long.

Hmmm think I've answered some of my own questions meaning I want a 1440p resolution which probably means it's between 2 choices in my price range:
- Iiyama XUB3490WQSU (+s area IPS and in stock)
- AOC CU34G2 (+s are 100hz, curved, 1ms response)

Based on my usage are VA panels that bad for colour? Is the IPS that limited by the refresh rate & response time?
The reviews of the Iiyama aren't exactly great w.r.t colour and uniformity anyway.
