Sub £50 MP3 Player.

Hey guys,

My Mum needs an MP3 player for work/gym/bike etc

I’ve only ever had iPods, so I’m not too clued up on the rest of the MP3 market.

She only wants to spend £50, tops.

USB Drag n’ drop would probably be easiest and a screen would be nice

What can you recommend?

I recently got a new iPod Shuffle for the gym. Very pleased with it, you don't even notice its there its so small.

Thats my recommendation.

Yep - they've made it so small now

That was my first recommendation, coming from an Apple background -

But she likes to know what's playing, and without a display, I don't think the Shuffle would quite measure up

You can get 4GB players which use Samsung flash memory quite cheap off the bay. They kind of look like an ipod.

If you can put £10 more in you can get the Samsung YPZ5 which is a great player - nano size, big colour screen, UMS, great sound quality etc
