So the time has come to refresh my 4 and a half year old build which was the following:

1 x AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 8MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
1 x ASUS M4A77TD PRO 770 Socket AM3 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard
1 x Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz Memory Kit Unbuffered CL9
1 x OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular PSU -135mm Fan
1 x XFX HD 5770 1GB DDR5 DUAL DVI DISPLAYPORT HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card

I'm not a massive gamer by any means but I do run multiple EVE accounts and have the occasional mess around on BF, Just Cause 2 & Crysis etc so I'm just wondering if the below setup is any good?

While my budget is £500 I'd prefer to keep under it, I've already got a Case, PSU and HDD's sitting here which is why I've missed them out from the list. I'm just looking for something that will last me for another 3 or so years before having to worry about replacing anything.

^^ +1

Much better card. Here are some benchmark results:

GTX 750TI vs AMD R7 265: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1130?vs=1127

GTX 750TI vs AMD R9 270x: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1130?vs=1043

The 265 is a good alternative if you want to save some cash, it runs battlefield well on high settings + it has £10 off this week :D :

Now kicking myself for picking that card, could have swore when I looked at a 270 it was major £££ which put me onto the 750Ti.

The case and PSU I had sitting for this have now been given to a friend who was in a bit of a rush. So I was thinking about the following?

YOUR BASKET
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 450W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £44.99
1 x Antec One Gaming Case - Black £29.99
Total : £87.28 (includes shipping : £10.25).

Does everything look okay with what I've already picked?

I was toying with the idea of the Corsair CX430 modular and non modular unit as the SuperFlower 450w bronze unit is currently out of stock.
