Looking for a small (relatively portable) workstation to go with an HTC Vive setup. Doesn't have to be the pinnacle of VR experience, but would like it to work well. Started with Mini-ITX, but this was working out too expensive so switched to Micro-ATX.

Any pointers on spec, please? Is an AMD micro-ATX feasible? Thanks.

Maybe even a Ryzen 5 six-core. If you go with AMD Ryzen, then it would benefit from faster RAM (3000MHz would be fine).

Storage-wise, 120GB seems a bit low for the SSD, and an endurance of 40 TBW is a bit low, imo. Not getting any extra speed for it being M.2 format either, in this case. I don't know. If you only want it for OS it will do. Alternatively, a Crucial MX300 525GB could be found, in place of 120GB SSD + 1TB HDD.

PSU/Graphics: no problem there with that small GPU. For more graphics options in future, a 150mm deep PSU would fit cards that exceed 11 inches. With that PSU (160mm), you're restricted to 11 inches or less. If that doesn't bother you, great. Otherwise these two would fit the bill:
