Well it seems we have many clubs; water cooled case, 4ghz+,5ghz+ ect. But we did not have a club for extreme cooling solutions until now.
In this thread the good people of OcUK can post their setups that can achieve
sub-ambient temperatures and give advice to people who are looking to attempt such a challenge themselves.

Such entry's could incude:
TEC
Phase change
Dice
Ect.

This thread was inspired by our resident extreme cooling champion Pneumonic,
whose build log can be found here. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18092133

I'll start us off.
Its just a coolit freezone elite with its pump swapped out for an xspc 450.

In theese tests the room temperature was 20c as measured by a chemical and a digital thermometrs placed
at different places within my room during the tests.

I prefer to use core damage over prime or orthos for load testing as it seems to push my cpu a lot further, for example
when this proccessor was air cooled it would push it into the 90's while prime was running along at about 67c

I have just bought an rs120 radiator off the members market that i am going to
put before the chillers in the loop, this should lower the work the chillers have to
do and allow me to keep low temps with less noise from the main unit.

Am I reading this wrong, but surely to be sub-ambient, your CPU would have to be less than the room temp?

Your CPU says 24 degrees in the top, where ambient is 20???

The liquid is sub-ambient. also core temp registers a core as 18 but i dont know how trustworthy this reading is because of their been such a large gap between cores.

I wouldnt worry about the difference between idle temps, its well known the sensors are less accurate the further from TJmax they reach and they equaling out under load
