Sub question - Tile or Carpet

Currently my sub is on my living room floor on carpet. Is this Ok or am I better off putting it on a solid Tile?

spikes on carpet would be best? depends on how it is designed.

I dont see what difference putting it on a tile would make?

Depends what your floor is, suspended or concrete?

Sink concrete posts through into the foundations, then mount it ontop

I would say just get some long spikes to put it through the carpet and into the floor below. But as badbob asked is the floor underneath conrete or a suspended wooden floor ?

Then I'd buy a heavy paving slab, and place your sub on top of that.
