submitting your site to search engines / directories

where should a new site be submitted to, other than google and D(ead)MOZ? :confused:

I've not submitted a site to Google before, I've only used 'robots.txt', you could use that and let web crawler bots index your site.

DMOZ isn't the only directory you can submit to.
