Subnautica with VR mod (PCVR) is still the best game I’ve played in VR even though you have to use joypad.
Found out about Subside yesterday and tried the demo. May not have as good gameplay but graphics, sound, and immersion is unreal

Actually, just seen on YouTube Subnautica VR mod now has full motion control interface though can’t swim like in Subside

Point taken about the gameplay of Subside, its primary focus seems to be that of a diving visual experience, rather than a game like Subnautica..?
In that respect it seems to be well rated.

I've not tried Subnautica yet on VR, maybe time to try it out.

I tried the demo and it does look nice. Not so keen on having to move your arms to swim, as that just gets tiring. (I think there's also teleport but no smooth movement).

For an underwater experience, I really love The Blu. It's so chill, but breathtakingly beautiful.

As for Subnautica, it's amazing. There is now an incredible mod which adds proper VR controls too. (I had to play on gamepad). I got all the way through to near the end of the game before I found out about it.
