Ive been using TC360 for years now and its always been good. But one thing thats always bothered me is subtitle support. Whenever i watch a video with foreign sections, unless hardcoded, the subs are not present (most hardcoded subs are dutch). But almost always there are SRT files available to use. Now im to understand from my friend google that SRT files are supported in transcode, so just wondering...errr....how do i use them?

Thanks guys

Psy, never figured you for blackmail! though it is an intereating proposal you have lol :)

I've never actually used TC360 but from the bit of googling I've done it seems that as long as the SRT file is named exactly the same as the avi file then it should work automatically.

Also the SRT files need to be in this format: (shamelessly stolen from another forum - runtime360.com by user Zappza)

Code:
Hmm, try to open the file with notepad.

How are the subtitles arranged?
Does it say something like:

"1
00:02:09,800 --> 00:02:10,800
Stop now.

2
00:02:11,680 --> 00:02:13,080
Tell me where it is.

3
00:02:18,480 --> 00:02:22,400
You and your brethren possess
what is not rightfully yours.

4
00:02:23,000 --> 00:02:26,680
I don't know what
you are talking about.

By my experience, this coding is the only one that works.

lol you should get one. Az managed to find mine for a few hundred quid while at the last LAN (though its worth noting that mine is pretty low end!)

ah right, and still £500 aint a bad price (i payed £620 for mine!). the best bit is, the bulbs for the HD70 are a lot cheaper than the bulbs for most projectors
