Subwoofer Cable

I'm running cables in my house at the moment, and want to run some subwoofer cable in the wall, with sockets at either end.

Now, I'm running Webro WF100 for the TV, can I run this for the subwoofer, or do I need a specific grade of cable? It'll be around a 5-10m run.

But what spec IS decent quality sub coax? I don't want terminated cable, as it's going to be terminated at wall plates.

I can't find any sites other than http://www.ehow.co.uk/way_5819144_diy-coaxial-subwoofer-cable.html which suggests RG6 is the usual cable; WF100 is better cable.

I've a QED subwoofer cable which is a lot thinner than the WF100 I have.

From what I've read, the reel of WF100 I already have should do fine.

I did and it worked fine

I've just moved house and am rewiring this one too. No in wall subwoofer sockets this time though, just rear speakers in walls.

I used this type of faceplate https://www.amazon.co.uk/Single-PHO...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=AZFZ1W0A2XHJJVV8Z68Z on one end and a 5.1 faceplate at the other, though 2x the single RCA would work fine.

Iirc you solder the centre core to one contact and the copper sheath to another contact on the back of the faceplate. Pretty simple stuff. I then connected to the sub and amp with a single RCA cable.
