I was just wondering what my options are to connect a sub which only has RCA stereo line in sockets to a receiver which only has a single LFE output?

I hope the answer isn't "buy a new sub/amp" :D

Cheers.

Just plug it in one of the rca sockets. Usually the manual will tell you to go with the left.

Right. Since it's a mono channel anyway, I guess it doesn't matter.

Home cinema noobs eh? :D

ED: Just found this:

Connect an RCA cable to the Subwoofer output on the receiver (Or "LFE" output if there is no subwoofer output).
Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the LFE or Line In jack on the subwoofer. Note: Some subwoofers have two line in jacks, one for left and one for right, but usually you'll only need to use one to connect your receiver. Check your subwoofer manual if it's not clearly marked on the back of the sub.

Should be fine then. Thanks :)
Btw, I'm due to pick up these bits tonight, so I was just a bit concerned that it would end up a no go.
