Subwoofer /DAC for Ruark MR1 Active Wireless Speaker

I assume you are talking about separate subwoofer and DAC?

I ask because when someone puts / in between words, it usually means a combination of both. For example a DAC/headphone amp.

If you are looking for a subwoofer with a built in DAC, then you won't find one. Not a good one anyway.

What are you looking to spend?
 
I use a Musical Fidelity v90 Dac for my Ruarks got plenty of connections and sounds great and the REL T ZERO SUB suppose to be a good pairing with them
 
They do, but it depends what the OP is using them with. Bluetooth connection is great for portable devices, but for PC use, wired is better.

True that. If it is just stuff like Spotify, over aptx Bluetooth I wouldn't bother. :)

Op, how much room for the sub as well?
 
Really not sure what good subwoofers go for second hand. REL, SVS and BK are all good brands. I'm sure there'll be something to be had on the usual second hand hi-fi places.

There's a SVS PB10 on avforums classified section for £100. Collection only though.
 
Id go for a decent DAC also cause i wouldn't really use them as just pc speakers. They do sound great my V90 DAC allows 24/96 audio its not the best out there but try TIDAL which is a paid sub service like spotify but has HD audio and High def music video's and the Ruarks will shine
