Hey guys

After lots of agonising over spec i finally ordered my components a couple of weeks back , and they arrived on 8/4. Next day i set about building the thing. After doing a couple of weeks of research and watching tutorials i was still a little nervous but after a few hours it was built and windows 7 was installing. a lot of people advised me that the process was pretty straightforward and it turned out that way. I say to anyone who is wanting to build but is (like i was) a little nervous , GO FOR IT !
I will never buy a pre built system again.
here is my spec

desk is a bit ****e really lol , but here is my new pride and joy lol

I used the same case as you for my first build a few weeks ago, and like you say, I was a tad nervous but now it's done, I'm well chuffed with myself! Very satisfying when it powers on and doesn't go bang :D

That case made life very easy. Everything just slides into place, no screws.

Well done mate :)

the case is top notch , so glad i chose it . i cant believe how quiet it runs too. hardest part i found was getting the cpu cooler on , i was really panicing then .

dont worry about it, it cant be worse than mine. ive actually used string because i couldnt find our cable ties *insert blushing face here*

i think the trophy goes to me:

as a crude attempt at "braiding", i collected four cables from the fans that looked messy and wrapped the length of it in electrical tape and it didnt look nice so i wrapped the whole lot in faffa tape... it looked even worse

but dont worry, when i get my new case next week, ill be sure to make a better attempt

Yep, the stock cooler I got was crap to fit, I've all ready swapped it out because it was making a horrible noise as well.
