Hi all, tackling the garden at the new house. Plenty of stuff to do in the house but thought I best tackle what i can outside whilst we have a summer.

The garden is simple, doesn't need much now apart from a ruddy good weeding on the 'lawn'.
I have grass so i need to tackle the weeds without killing too much of what's there. Any decent weed killers out there that tackle the most of weeds yet leave grass alone? There's so many that tackling them one-on-one would take days.

yes! whatever you do don't use a standard weed killer as it will kill your grass and cause you more problems.

Resolva do one specifically for lawns which comes in a ready to use spray usually about £4.99 it's in a Green Bottle.

Or you can buy 'Feed and Weed' products if you fancy giving your lawn a bit of a boost as well they're a little more and usually concentrate's you mix up in your watering can.

I use grazon pro at work. Apply it with liquid fertiliser at the same time, and it does a great job of killing all weeds quickly. It is expensive but at a ratio of 60ml to 10 litres it will last you a long time.

I bought what I think was Bayer? expensive and took a blinkin' week to kill anything :/

Tried B&M Stores: Westland Resolva 24hr Weedkiller, about £4
killed everything in 24 hours, they looked like they had been torched
Even those spiky weeds that laugh in the face of death

It's good, very good, surprised how effective it was, you can buy it ready to use or as a concentrate.

One thing I learnt, it will not work over night :( spray one evening about 7pm & it barely killed a weed the following day.
