Such a thing as a multi sender?

Couldn't think of what to call the thread, so sorry if it's confusing.

Basically I'm thinking of putting a small plasma/lcd on the bedroom wall and want some sources from downstairs.

Ideally I want the Sky HD feed to be on the TV, but is there anything that would take feeds from all my other stuff like the DVD recorder and 360 and send that upstairs too?

It needs to be wireless really as it's a 3 storey house.

Another option would be to split the signal coming out of the media box (the downstairs TV is a Pio 436XDE so it has a box that everything plugs into which then plugs into the TV) and just run a very long Pioneer cable up (but the bedroom TV would then need to be Pioneer with the same adapter!).

I guess what you could do is get a scart switch box and connect all of your devices to that. Then connect the switch box to a video sender, with a receiver connected to your TV.
You would then be able to control which device you want, as long as switch box has IR remote.

Quality probably won't be great, distance may be a problem, and would rely on devices having dual output.

Wireless will give very poor results with your house size. Doesn't have enough bandwidth to transmit HD (video sender).

Xbox controller probably won't work reliably over that distance.

Pioneer media boxes usually output the video on DVI but the audio through the other cable which I think is serial but wiring configuration is propriatory.

Running a 5-core Coax would enable you to have component and stereo sound from the Sky HD in the bedroom though, and obviously any HD content.

If you can install another seperate coax you could use it to relay the remote commands back to the Sky HD box.

I would then install a DVD Player in the bedroom for DVD playback as the cost would be much cheaper than sending the recorded upstairs and I assume you use the Sky HD PVR functions over that of the DVD recorder?
