Sudan

I don’t really care about Palestine or Sudan, just don’t let them come to the uk thanks.
Don't you live in the UAE?

I am looking at buying my first car and the S40 seems like a good option, the build quality seems pretty good and is seems like a comfortable car that I would happy to keep for 3-4 years. I live in the UAE so petrol price is not really a huge consideration but safety is and S40 seems pretty safe. I am just wondering if these things are very reliable as I don't want expensive maintenance bills ( who does?) The ones I am looking at have around 50,000 miles and are going for around 6-8,000.

Many thanks!

It's mind boggling how cruel and disgusting this world can be.

Just a few minutes ago I was enjoying a nice serene walk along the canal, completely alone with my thoughts (apart from the ducks). Leaves on the ground, a slight chill in the air. It was picturesque.

Meanwhile somewhere else in the world a bunch of bloodthirsty savages are going door to door killing a bunch of people because of "reasons".

Sigh.

It seems like the Sudanese government were more than happy to let the RSF do it's dirty work for them but now their attack dogs have turned on it's master. This is what happens when you enable genocidal groups they become emboldened and more blood thirsty.
This seems very much like it is the case.
The horse riders of the ethnic cleansing Janjeweed, seem to have upgraded to trucks now, and continue their policy.
They've been at this for twenty years now, just stepping it up as their equipment improves.

As above...
Where's the outrage, the mass protests in the streets, the calls from politicians for it to end...

Even reading the limited international comments on the situation there's very little. Perfunctory statements from the UK, US and a couple of European states. The EU have basically said stoppit and the AN the same. Surely this screams AN or UN intervention?

They've done this on many occasions before, my first introduction to the horse riders was from an armed helicopter, maybe a gunship, with UN observers on board, as we watched the riders attack a village murder the unarmed inhabitants, drive them out and drive off, waving at the helicopter, the pilot said he could stop it with a flick of his thumb, but he wasn't allowed to, he was only allowed to observe and record, and reportedly he quit after seeing enough of that ****.
This was many many years ago, and they still do it to this day, so AN or UN is utterly pointless.

Cant wait for the protests in London and local area's about this either....

Oh wait, its selective isn't it.

Sucks for regular Sudan people though, seeing the report of hundreds at a hospital executed and its barely got a news story on BBC.
