Last night I added a "games" pc to the network. It is also connected to my"office" pc by a KVM. Both a running different versions of Vista. Everything went fine, I could access the internet from both pc's and could browse shared folders across my home network.
This morning the "office" pc only had limited access through an unknown network and the gateway device (Netgear Rangemax) had no visible mac address and could not connect to the internet. I could however access "games" pc and browse shared folders. Games pc had normal internet access (hence this message)
Games pc network properties shows 2 devices:a residential gateway and an internet gateway device. "office "pc only shows an internet gateway device on an unidentified network. Both the gateway devices on "games" show a connection to network 2.
I would be most grateful for any help to clear up this mess
