Well i got a new pc the other day and when i turned it on the first few times it was very qiuck on start up. Now though on start up the bit just before the log on screen it stays black for quite a while compared to before.
The only things i have installed it things like drivers, firewall, software for the tv card and World in Conflict. Could this be enough to slow it down just like that?
Also i bought the pc off overclockers, and it has a Q6600 oc'd to 3.30 and it had 2gb RAM. For an upgrade to 4gb RAM (which i had) they said it would be downclocked to 3.10, 3.20 range. It has been downclocked to 3.23, is that ok to keep it stable?
Thanks
