Suddenly lose mouse and keyboard.

I have an odd and very very intermittent issue. Suddenly I will lose mouse and keyboard, lights will go out on both. (see signature for specs). I usually have to restart PC to sort this out.

Any thoughts?
 
Hmmm did you updated motherboard to latest BIOS F10f?

It could possible caused by your PSU's custom cables, try swapped to SilverStone supplied cables and see what happened.

In answer to your questions re Bios. No I have not as yet. And re custom cables I have tried your suggestion but as the issue is so intermittent I have really no way of knowing. It might not happen for weeks then a couple of times in a couple of days. Most odd.

Will look into the BIOS update see whether it offers anything. Thanks.
