Sufficient for the foreseeable future?

Currently I use Dell Gaming laptop with a GTX 960M 4GB as well as an i7 and as much as I love how it can play games on the go, it's not perfect when I have to play games at low settings (AC: Unity just isn't quite as pretty as I want it to be...)
So I've had a look at a system configuration as seen in the link

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...!yrphu~wrpiu_4AsjV'/ATTW6XCcoY-WEFH15'1FKJ177!

And I was wondering whether this would sort of "future proof" myself for the next year or so?
I would like to be able to play games as 1080p at a solid 60FPS if not higher if possible.
If you have any suggestions of how I could lower the costs with an i5 or a 480 card then be my guest!
Laptops are also on the table as nvidia have just released their desktop GPUs for laptops but I'm not sure about those.
Thank you in advance!

Are you looking to build yourself and whats your budget? Do you need a monitor, peripherals and Windows?

The last time I built my own it was an AMD build and the CPU died so I'd rather get a prebuilt and have the warranty on the whole system if anything goes wrong.

But I already have a 60hz monitor and a gaming mouse but I sold the keyboard a while back so a new one would be useful!

OS wise I'd like to get Windows 10 just because I've grown used to it (even though I now have to run AC:Unity in compatibility mode because uPlay doesn't like Windows 10 for some reason...)
I was just checking other configurators and the Skylake Z170 looks pretty good with an i5-6600K, would that be better than the i7?

EDIT: Budget wise I'm only looking to spend a maximum of £1200-1300 as I'll probably be having to buy this on finance
