Suggest a "warm" hatch for <£2k

As per title really, there are obvious candidates such as the saxo vtr, cant seem to get anywhere close to that for the money (and be able to insure it, 17 y/o driving for 6 months.)

So, any suggestions?

Haha course not, probly lookin at 1500 to insure whatever i decide on
