Ok here is what I am looking for. But might be dreaming here. Ideally 5.1 setup, wireless rear speakers or fully wireless. Works with a Plex Server (reason I list that is my current 2.1 system now turns itself off when accessing the last few versions of plex......) Ideally sub £400.

Am I dreaming? Or someone know of a kit?

Generally always had LG kit. I like the menu's. But in my local shop's all I can find is a £699 kit :-(

Full wireless speakers all round doesn't exist. Speakers still need power from somewhere for a start, so either each one plugs in to the mains and contains a wireless receiver and amp, which would be expensive. Or they wire back to a shared 2ch amp which then means they're not really wireless. Some other problems with wireless full range audio is it either requires the head unit to transcoding on the fly or the system needs enough bandwidth to transmit 5 full range audio channels. Neither is easy or cheap. Semi-wireless rear speaker exist, but they use the shared 2 channel amp and they are bandwidth limited which means lower audio quality.

Wireless subs don't use full range audio. It's more like 40-400hz rather than 20-20,000Hz. That's how you can have wireless subs in systems.

Wireless rear speakers would be fine. All front kit can be wired. But the wife redecorated the living room about 6 weeks ago and I don't fancy moving everything around to try and pull the carpet up to run speaker wire.

I saw the LG LHB745 reduced which I thought would do the job nicely. If I was going to run cable.

Spend the same amount on a decent soundbar instead, you're never getting your money's worth with these all-in-one systems from LG, Samsung etc.
