hi all.

im looking at going for a 3 monitor set up with 24" monitors. dont want mega money ones, under £200 each would be good.

was looking at the Asus VN247H 24"Widescreen Super Narrow Bezel or the Iiyama Prolite E2481HS-B1 24" Widescreen LED Super Slim Bezel but the Iiyama have been due soon for about 3 weeks now.

seen good reviews on both so would like to know what you guys use or like.

changing from a 27" Iiyama. will have a 22" one above the lot for other info but i want to game on the main 3.

Can't really comment on the smaller screens. But have you considered one of the new 34" widescreen models? Factoring in your budget plus the extra graphical grunt needed to drive three monitors the cost wouldn't be all together different and compatibility in games would be a lot higher along with less display issues that eyefinity or Nvidia surround. Just a thought.

i have the graphic grunt. got 2 R9 290's so thats not a problem. but might have a look. games would not always be across all 3 monitors either as i stream and do youtube videos so the other screens would be used for info/chat and other stuff as well where one screen limits that.

I'm going for a 34" 21:9 rather than faff about with triple monitors. I'd personally find any bezels at all (regardless of how thin) a distraction whilst gaming and 3x24" for productivity just means you end up sitting at an odd angle whilst using either side monitor (IME from using a 23" and 2 x 20" ones either side).

them curved monitors dont look that good to me. plus 34" is too big for my corner desk and 5 ms response times is a lot for FPS games etc. and its one monitor. i do video editing/ streaming ect and need more then 2 monitors atm. my second one has too mush stuff on it atm when im working

As i said, can't really advise on the three smaller monitors although with a lot of the tn ones they are all very similar and it tends to come down to price/ and looks. Regarding the 34" (dog with a bone! :p) I have used both an ips and a tn for gaming and for me personally I saw no difference in the input lag despite very different specs. This is of course a personal view and i am sure many will argue differently, I suppose it comes down to what you can notice; all i am saying is don't assume ips 5ms response time is bad.

Had TN and IPS and if you go down the 3 monitor route and get TN monitors you are gonna have a bad time, preferred my 1440p IPS over a UHD TN...
