We are going on holiday next week to Mull but its a wee bit boring for him and wondered if there is anywhere you guys can think that an 18 year old might enjoy for 4-5 days next week?

Berlin is a good long weekend with lots to see and do and though I prefer Amsterdam I think that is more suited to couples. Could do a lot worse than London, one of the top cities in the world as is Paris or Rome.

Does he have any hobbies?
It's no good us recommending something active if he has no interest in sports.

I had 5 nights in Budapest last November and really enjoyed it (weather was fine), fair bit of walking in the morning seeing the sights but by the afternoon we hit a couple of bars each day so swings and roundabouts. Going again in January with the intention to go to a shooting range (I've never used a firearm except in games).

On the opposite end, were off to Lanzarote next month for 5 nights for something a little more relaxing before Christmas chaos starts at work.

Problem with holidays.. Unless you know someone/what they like you can't really recommend.

I'd absolutely hate the stereotypical 18 year old holiday.

Some want a beach holiday, some want alcohol and a few holes, others sight seeing, city breaks, natural stuff, activities... So many options.
