Okay so I've bought my gaming rig (In Sig) and I'm happy with what I've got, but next up, for a decent visual experience, is obviously the monitor.
I have no clue about any of the jargon surrounding monitors like 1080, 1440, 4k, 8k, UHD, refresh, gsync etc, and I probably wouldn't gain much understanding if someone tried to explain it either.
All I can say is my current monitor is an ASUS VG248QE 24 Inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Gaming Monitor I got from Amazon 4 years ago and has done its job well to date.
What I'm looking for is recommendations (And the whys) of some decent monitors that would do well for gaming, and actually show off what my rig is capable of.
I've budgeted £500 for the monitor, but I'm willing to hold off a month or two to save a bit more and go up to £700 if needs be. But it all depends on how good it is.
Any help here is most appreciated.
