Hi,
Can anyone give me some suggestions on what gfx cards would be appropriate?
The PC is not going to be a hi end gaming system. It will mainly be used for home/office use, though I do like to play the odd game now and again. I will want the ability to play around with video editing at some point (got a whole back log of stuff I want to put on to DVD) though I'm not sure this is relevent to choice of gfx card (show how new I am to this). The monitor I'll be using will either be be 19" 4:3 or possibly a slightly bigger WS. Possibly going to be using Visa Ulitmate as my OS as well. Oh, and it has to be reasonably quiet.
I was looking to spend between £100 and £150, but the cheaper the better. Not event sure I need to spend that much? There seems a lot of carda around at this price. I've read some good reviews about the Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro and Connect3D ATI Radeon X1950 XT recently. Are these any good?
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers,
Jubbly
