Howdy folks,

So I'm after a new Mouse, Keyboard and speakers, and given that the support here on the forums is usually exemplary, I thought it best to call upon your knowledge on such things:

Mouse: *NOT RAZER* I'm sick of their dreadful software, and unreliable hardware (3 Nagas in 1 year = not good). Preferably something symmetrical. Going to be playing lots of Titanfall with it. I've been looking at the Steelseries Sensei - any opinions on it? Price no object. Any suggestions?

Keyboard: Same as above - Not Razer. I'm after something thats fairly silent, which means probably a membrane keyboard. Though I am up for a mechanical one if it's not too loud on the keys. Also, must have a UK layout (which also rules out most of Razer too). Price no object.

Speakers: Desktop speakers, must sound reasonably well, preferably without a separate sub or running off mains. Price...well I'll stretch to £80~ if necessary.

Huge thanks for any help - it's most appreciated!

Mouse - I haven't used that many recently but I just received a Roccat Kone Pure Optical which is extremely well built and feels excellent if a bit too small. Have a look if they have any symetrical ones.

Keyboard wise, once you try mechanical you won't want to go back - one with brown switches and o-rings arent *that* noisy. I went from a G15 to a G710+ and the noise difference isnt noticable but the performance is!

Creative T40s are well regarded and around £80, they are 2.0 so no sub but do run off mains.

Cheers!

I think I'm going with the Logitech G710+ for Keyboard, The Creative T40s for speakers.

Still no firm thoughts on mouse - I'm not a fan of Roccat after having one of their keyboards, never heard of Zowie. I looked more in to the Sensei, lot of people rating it down due to poor build quality :(

Zowie mouse seem well received on overclock.net! Also check out the Mionix Avior 7000 or 8200. Their other mouse is regarded as the possibly the most comfortable ergonomic gaming mouse available and I assume their ambidexturous one is just as good. The 8200 uses a laser (avago 9800) whereas the 7000 uses one of the 'flawless' optical sensors.

I sent back the Roccat mouse today as its simply too small for me to use but the build quality was exceptional - it was nicer to use than my G700 in regard to buttons/weight and feel. That said, I dont think I will ever be able to replace the G700 as it is possibly the most perfect overrall mouse I've ever used. Don't write one of those off if you don't mind a more ergonomic shape.

Mouse: Roccat Kone XTD or Pure, both the same, but the XTD has some extra DPI. I've had my Kone+ for 3 years now and its still strong. These mice feel really "meaty" as well, you get plenty of heft and they are built like German tanks! As a plus it has way more buttons that you will ever need as it uses one of the clickers as a "shift" key. Worked well for titan fall as you can macro them or set them to whatever key press you want.

Keyboard: I'm using the K70 from corsair with cherry reds. I've not had it long enough not to bottom out on all the keys, but you can get o-rings to make them quieter. This thing is solid metal as well with a nice red back light. Its quite pricey at £100+, but its amazing.
