I have a friend who most likely has some form of ADHD. As well-intentioned as he is in trying to find online gaming time with me he is prone to getting bored quickly and mentally checking out during our gameplay.

This happens in Elder Scrolls Online, Heroes & Generals, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, H1Z1 and pretty much any other game that requires a chunk of attention span of at least 20 minutes at a time.

My issue is that CoD games and manic shooters like Titanfall are just not my thing so I do not suggest it to him.

Do you guys have and suggestions for online action games that can keep both of us engaged for a good hour before he gets distracted by Facebook or Whatsapp?

Okay I forgot to disclose that I have a residual RSI problem that will probably stay with me for the rest of my years (consequence of playing LoL and using Photoshop for several years). Unless it's a MOBA that is very minimal with the clickiness, you guys have other suggestions outside of the MOBA genre?

Thanks for all the input everyone!

Other option, find other people to game with as it would drive me mad.

Trust me it does drive me mad as well. This attempt is kind of my last gesture of goodwill.

He prefers multiplayer games so even cool CCG's like Hearthstone are not really an option.

As I try to describe my situation in words it seems our gaming relationship is futile...

As above. While it has its flaws, Arcade battles sound like the perfect solution for you both - assuming that game type is your cup of tea.

Surprisingly I have tried that game with him, but we must've played some random mode because I felt like it was really drawn out missions... and of course he lost interest.

Are there other games similar to War Thunder?
