Hi there,

I am looking for some advice/suggestions on a quiet case that comes with a PSU. Budget is around £50.
In the case will be an ATX motherboard, XP2100 CPU, GF4 ti4200 and probably 1 HDD.

What would you kind folks suggest?

Cheers

Your best bet for that price would be the Antec SLK1650B Black Quiet Mini Tower Case - 350W SmartPower PSU (CA-023-AN)

Thats the perfect match for the spec, good case and a super PSU for the requirements. Comes with fans too.

Hi there,

Thankyou for your replies, much appreciated.
Is the case you suggested of good quality? Also, what's it like to fit motherboard and componants in? fiddly or fairly straight forward?

Cheers

Hi there,

That case looks good for the job. Thankyou, however I have one last query.
I have a Cooler Master Aero CPU cooler which I was planning on using in said system, after looking at the technical sheet from Antec's website I noticed that the case has a duct which I presume goes from the CPU cooler to the air vent on the side of the case.
Would it be better to use a CPU cooler with a fan that points towards the duct?

Cheers

Just to add a late 2p, the case does not have a removeable motherboard tray, but it is very easy to fit a motherboard into as it has enough room around the board so you do not have to drop it in.

For the money you could not expect anymore from it, its got everything you could want for the money.

Unless you start looking at £60 for just the case, you will not get better.
