I'd like some suggestions for some simulation games please. I used to play a truck simulator game about 5 years ago, where the object of the game was to drive 100s of miles across Europe delivering goods to various depots... yes, very lame, but they help me to unwind after long days at work, lol :)

So anything from flight to hovercraft sims?! I don't know... just wondered what was out there at the moment. Have recently built a mid/high end gaming rig so it can handle pretty much anything (not that it should matter!).

Thanks :)

Cant beet Street Cleaning Simulator as far as lame sims go, there was a thread on it just a few days ago, look it up :)

This Thread!

According to it there is a game called Advanced Lawnmower Simulator. Sounds Riviting. :)

Quote About ALS (advanced lawnmower simulator)

Advanced Lawnmower Simulator (or ALS) was quite simply the best game to appear on the Spectrum. It was written by (at the time) well-known Your Sinclair writer Duncan MacDonald. In April 1990, it was reviewed in YS and was promptly awarded a YS 'Megagame'. The following month, it was 'featured' on the Covertape. Yes, you've guessed it - the whole thing was an elaborate April Fool's joke

I wonder if these simulators are meant as fun and games, maybe they are sold to companies that prepare German street cleaners et al for their NVQs or something? :)

I highly recommend the hunter if you haven't tried it. It's ftp at first, but you can buy licenses to hunt moose and bears etc and use better hunting gear. It's really awesome, great graphics, cheap, and relaxing (until you get a huge bull moose 10ft away and you want a heart shot with your bow)

I didnt know you could hunt with a bow there! How good is archery trajectory/physics? The only game with somewhat believable archery that I came across was THief: the Dark Project (great game btw).

RCT 2, hours upon hours of fin.

Sim City, yet again.

great games, RCT and transport Tycoon are my all time fav strategy/sim games.

This time though, I'm looking for games that don't require much brain power :p

[EDIT] The hunter looks kinda cool, is it MP only though? Only had a quick glance, but can't really tell, not to bothered about MP gaming at the mo

Actually it's all SP, with just forums and other characters to get missions and competitions if you want to participate. The environment is really atmospheric, made this video last night before I realised I had my record settings on such low res. Apologies for lack of audio.

Won't work on my PC for some reason :/ posted in there tech support forum, hopefulyl get a response, really wouldn't mind playing this
