suggestions media player required for party

I am hosting an 80s party. I have my music sorted out but require

a media player than will cross fade the tracks
have some decent visualisations (in an 80s style preferably)
autovolume would be desirable too

Windows Media Player doesnt seem to actually cross fade correctly, even though you click the button.

I was going to just go to the old favorite winamp but thought i would check in here first.

xbmc + party mode?

Replaygain your tracks beforehand to sort out the volumes (I do it in Foobar2000).

Nowt wrong with Winamp if you're already accustomed to using it.
