Suggestions needed for new build with Install issues

Hi, I've just finished building a new Ryzen 5 PC but I'm having problems with the Operating system. I'm trying to install it on a 256 gb Intel 600p M.2 drive.
I have the latest bio's, The bio's before this one included a fix for when using the Intel 600p M.2 so it should be okay.

The problem comes with the OS Install

It all goes fine for 10 or 15 minutes as it works down the list of things to do for the installation then on reaching the bottom of the list it say's it needs to do a restart to finish off. The problem is it does nothing more, On one occasion it did a full stop and restart but never came back on to the now idling monitor and on another attempt it did not do a total stop the pc continues running with the monitor in standby so again nothing on screen. I gave it a 30 minute wait to see if it was going to eventually start but nothing it remains running with nothing getting to the monitor,
Basically I'm baffled as it's not rocket science and should be okay, so I'm in need of some help & suggestions. Cheers.

While I remember the OS is a new downloaded version of Win 10 pro which is on a USB stick, On starting the install it accepts the code as valid and starts the installation process as expected.

Reset it manually and see it comes back and continues with the install. Does the M2 need any drivers that you should have given it at the beginning of the OS install?

Hi, I don't know of any drivers for the M.2 but I'll take look online. I was able to run the PC by using the OS SSD from my Haswell build so I'm using it but I'm on an old Samsung 840 which is a bit flaky, so I want to use the M.2 which is also a lot faster, I did a motherboard bio's update and one of the fixes posted with the bio's before this one was a fix for the Intel 600p M.2 drive which is the model I have.

I tried manually restarting when installing the OS but it doesn't help.

Is the drive showing in the BIOS and enabled?

It is. It let's me go through the motions and then starts installing windows, right at the end it say's that it needs to restart to finish the install but it never comes back on screen. I spent most of yesterday up to about midnight trying everything I could think off but every time it get's to the end of the Windows install that's the last thing I see.

Windows should setup the partition, but maybe during the reset the data is lost.

I'm in the process of cloning the whole boot drive to the M.2 drive with 'EaseUS Todo Backup'. I found it online and Norton hasn't objected to it and even stated it's safe so fingers crossed it'll solve it for me. It stated my old OS drive had 3 partitions so I cloned the two small ones and now I'm half an hour into cloning the big one which is a 100 odd gb's. Hopefully once that's done it'll work, or not ??

Depends what's going on at boot.

It didn't help but I put in the usb stick with the OS on and did a re-install which has now worked presumably thanks to the small partitions I cloned over, Actually I haven't got a clue so it's as good a reason as any :D Thank's for the input and suggestions.

Yea I had a problem installing Windows on my new build. It was telling me that the hard drive had the wrong partition table and I couldn't install it to any of my drives at all.

Finally figured out that I added to go into Command Prompt and alter the partitions there. Ridiculous really on a brand new install on brand new parts.

I'd it weren't for the games needing to be on Windows I'd have switched to Linux long ago

I've never used Linux but it'd be good to have a gaming alternative to Window's, There was hope for Steam's OS at one point but because games are segmented by the big three Steam, U-play & Origin, 4 if you include GOG, it was doomed to fail.
