Hi,

One of my clients virus protection suites is up for renewal next month, their currently using Symantentec EPP with premium antispam.

Anyone have any suggestions on other ones? this ones been a real pain in the bum, the older 10 was better and less hastle.

Needs to be managed by the server, easily deployable and have some smtp spam prevention.

So fan im thinking either keeping with Symantec ... ewww

Kasperski
Sophos or even nod32 enterprise.

Anyone have some other suggestions of views?

Many thanks

yea im using nod32 on my home machine, and do on small offices like 3 users etc, but i want somthing centrally managed.

Does sophos SBE have a managment console where you can see all the machines using the software, and can deploy to mahcines on the network?

hmm looks like at the moment, sophos and nod32 are the main contenders, with kasperski in the side lines.

Do you have any screenys of the nod32 console? ive bought the business version before, but it doesnt have a console its just the hom version in blue.

Is it the enterprise edition? anndd does nod come with antispam?

whats this google thing you speak of?

Must say the google thing does look very nice, assuming nod32 doest come with antispam?

as theres only 15 users, doing the google thing for spam would be more cost efective then getting a 3rd party solution

mmm any idea of the costings for securetide?

Also i noticed the google one charges per client, but we have an exchange server, so how does that work out the per client emails? as some users have multiple addresses, but they are still 1 client? same goes for secure tide :P

Hmm,

Well i think postini is a pretty good deal, and nod32 with remote manager is also a nice price, nad also im used too it :P

sill going to recommend sophos as an alternative though as its probably the second one thats been most recommended.

Will let you know how i get on :)
