Suggestions on parts please

Hi all, i was wondering if anyone could help me at all.

Ive had a good look at the overclockers website at some parts for my pc, as im wanting to upgrade a lot of them. But im so confused.

The trouble im having as im new to this, is that im not sure what parts will work with other parts.

I have a limit of £350, at a push £400

What im needing is:

Motherboard
graphics card
memory (ram)
processor
hard drive

Im wanting to build something that will play COD4, warhammer online etc, basically a half decent gaming machine.

It will need to be able to run vista

Im just basically wondering if someone could sugest the best parts for the money i have to spend...as good as i can get.

Id like quad core, or dual core at a minimum

im not entirely sure here, but maybe you budget is a limiting factor, i have just brought my new system with a budget of £1k, i did a lot of shopping around before i made my decision on the one i have now, incidentally from overclockers.

you may want to look at pre-built computers in your price range, and then see how much it would be to buy the parts separtly (at this point you will know that all works together as it wont of come as a pre built) you might find you save some cash buying the parts seperatly then you can upgrade a few things in your shopping list, then buy it, put it together, be happy :)
