I need a laptop for use in the garage - diagnostics software, viewing inspection cameras, viewing PDFs, web browsing.
Basically any cheap thing would do, however I've been spoiled with my main PC which has an asrock Z68 Extreme 7 gen3 board - With the option rom's disabled it is the fastest POSTing computer I've ever used so I just find slow starting computers irritating particularly when I'm trying to crack on with a job. I will likely replace the hdd with a basic ssd so windows will start quick enough.
I know nothing much about laptops so suggestions please for reasonably priced laptops that don't hang about before starting to loading the OS. Doesn't have to be a current model as a 2nd hand one would do fine. One note, I have tried a 10" netbook and the resolution wasn't quite enough for some of the diagnostics software so anything 12" or over would probably be ok.
