Suggestions: point & shoot, compact, digital camera with wifi

I'm planning a trip to Australia and I'd like to take a camera with me. Nothing too fancy. Just a point and shoot digital camera.

My main concern is being able to upload photos to facebook/email them to friends and family. This could prove difficult as it might be hard getting access to a computer. So I'd like a camera with built in wifi capabilities.

Samsung's SH100 gets a good write up on Trusted Reviews and at just under £100 it fits snugly into my price range.


I'm just after some opinions on this camera from those in the know. Can any of you recommend a better camera for my needs?

At that price point a camera is a camera, they are all pretty much the same, at best average photo quality. So it really doesn't matter what you get, just get whatever has the add-on features that you are looking for.

If your main concern is being able to share the photo's while you're away, a smart phone equipped with a decent camera might be more suitable.

I did think about that but I've only just updated my phone (camera's **** though).


That Samsung looks good to me. I'm sure that's what I'll end up going with.
