Getting around $600 pounds next week through a coding gig that I've been working on and just wondering based on the specs below, is there anything I could upgrade?

12GB DDR3 @1600mhz
Intel Core i5-3570k @3.4GHz (stock)
Asus P8Z77-V LX
AMD 7850 2GB
Corsair Obsidian 650d
Corsair Force Series 3 SSD + 2TB Samsung EcoGreen HDD
XFX 650W XXX Edition Modular
Corsair A70 High-Performance Dual Fan CPU Cooler

Other:

Zowie EC2 eVo, Keycool 84 /w MX Cherry Browns, Dual screens (both 1920x1080), Razer Kraken Pros.

I just can't seem to find anything to upgrade at the moment. The only thing I can see to upgrade at the moment is the a70 and maybe replace it with a Corsair h100i or something.

Any other ideas?

as said above the 290 is great value but the stock cooler is rubbish..

So id wait until aftermarket 290's are out. :)

Oh yeah, and get a better CPU cooler. :)

Just because you have the money doesn't mean that you NEED to buy an upgrade for your computer. What you have at the moment is a great build.

Are you struggling performance wise with any of the games you play? If not get rid of that upgrade itch!

With that being said if I was going to upgrade anything it would be the GPU to something like the R9 280X or even possibly the R9 290X.

How about getting another 7850 as they can be has quite cheaply at the minute and your PSU is perfectly capable of running two (I have the same PSU running two GTX660s). Another thing that might be worth considering is a third screen for eyefinity.

To be honest mate, I'm not struggling with anything really, I mean, I was just coming to you guys to see if you could see anything wrong with what I currently have, see if it's worthwhile me upgrading anything, I mean, I don't have too, I could just save it up for a rainy day really.

When it comes down to it, I think the only thing I'd buy if everything else is all good, is probably a new HDD (Only got 500GB left on my 2TB lol).

That doesn't sound like a bad idea to be honest, do you know what Crossfire 7850's would equate to in terms of performance? would it rival that of a 7950 perhaps?

have you thought about watercooling ?

I don't like the thought of water cooling, I've looked into liquid cooling with the h100i etc, but I think that's as far as I would go personally.

I don't really trust the fact that it could leak at any moment and the attention that it needs, you know, the changing of the water block every few months etc, just not for me really.

this is what i initially thought, but if you look into it, its really not dangerous plus you get the joy of doing it as well as the aesthetics :D
