Hi All, I have bought an antec 1200 case, gigabyte ex58 extreme m/board and the h20-220 water colling kit.

As I have never gone down the road of water cooling, it is all very new to me and as a newbie, Im experiencing problems with the setup.

The tubing that came with the water cooling kit is, way to thick so I went out and bought some other, which actually has more of a tighter fit on the nossles of the water cooling kit. The only thing is, on my m/board, gigabytes own chipset water block has smaller nossles than the ones on my cooling kit. Is there a way I can get around it? Can I use a sealant so then when I clamp the tube onto the chipset block it wont leak water from it?

Also with the radiator from the kit, after nearly spending a whole day trying to work out the best place for it to go, I still cant work out the best place for it. The radiator comes with a radbox but using that will block the air flow from the fans at the reat of the case, and I dont to be honest want to do that.

Im sure this matter is like second nature to many but for me its well confusing.

Thanks for any advice you give me.

Sounds like the kit you have uses 1/2" fittings and your mobo chipset uses 3/8" fitting which is a fairly common thing on factory fitted mobo blocks. You either need to replace that mobo block, or get a couple of 1/2" to 3/8" reducers, assuming you can't just change the fittings on the mobo block. If you do the latter you will also need to get a short length of 3/8" tubing as well. Usually mobos should come with the necessary reducers though anyway tbh. Do not use sealant, it won't work.

As for rad positioning, pics will help.
