Sugo build

It's time I retired my trusty Shuttle so it looks like a build based on a SG01S.

The prebuilt Ultima Sugo would do me but for the 4870X2 - i can't justify that to drive a 20inch CRT but a 4870 would do.

I am assuming I can build my shopping list from the Ultima Sugo product description.

I understand the 3.5 drive cage has to be removed. Does anyone know whether I can fit 2 hard drives in the 5 1/4 bays below a DVD drive when a Gainward 4870 is fitted.

I think you're only going to get one drive in there, so if you want 2 HDDs then either the optical drive or the second HDD needs to be external.

You could also try the Lian-Li V350 case - it's SFF and takes a mATX board like the Sugo but you can get more drives inside it.

Thanks - I thought that was going to be the reply. My choice is one drive in the Sugo or put up with a side opening drive. Time to take a tape measure to my shelf.

if you really like the look of the Sugo, go for the Silverstone Sugo SG01B-F
its been remade so you can use longer cards with the hdd cage on the other side

ocuk don't sell it tho

Once our disti gets them in they are on the site pronto. Want one myself to replace my evo. :o

Had to request from Silverstone to get these into the UK in any volume, this was two weeks ago and the delivery in takes around 8 weeks.

Little way off but once they are in will be worth it for the next gen of SFF systems.

lo Yewen m8 yeah i would like to replace my evo with that 1 as well
and if you can do them for around £80.00 im defo gonna get 1 :)

Think a lot of people would like to.

They are doing one with the "other" sugo front, the one which is flat faced if you have seen it.

Not so sure on that one myself, don't hear many people talking about it either.

you on about the SG02-F? yea i know the 1, but im into the classic aluminium front.
just looks a lot better :)

Would be the one, bit too lazy tonight to check their site. :D

Im with you on the original being the best, something about the rounded lip at the top of the front fascia, just suits the size of the case spot on.

I bought a Sg01-E from ocuk for my last build but then realised my GTX260 wouldn't fit with the HDD cage so ended up sourcing a SG01-F from another location which resolved the problem. Brilliant cases, definitely recommended.
