Hi All

From my other threads some of you may now that i have upgraded to the Sugo case, but i have now hit a snag... and an annoying one at that!

Im using an ASRock S775Twins-HDTV motherboard and i want to install my PVR350 card in there, i use it for capture as well as watching sky upstairs in my office. However, it doesnt fit!

Well it does, but i have to jam it in and its a MAJOR tight fit, im sure its pushing something out that it shouldnt be. It seems to be, on the PCI Plate of the card, the connection for the AMFM Aerial is just a little bit too high and it catches on the back on the case where you screw the PCI card into...

It looks like it seated OK, but i can see more of the Gold connections that slot into the PCI Port than normal... I darent turn it on with it in there just incase, so for now i have removed it.

Its really annoying as i love the card and dont want to have to swap it for something else.

Has anyone else tried with this combination? Long shot i know, but any advice will help!

Well i put it back in.. didnt want to cos it takes some forcing :( Probably means it shouldnt be in there, as it didnt work. Wouldnt seem to find the TV channels.

Not to worry, PayDay soon so i will just get an external USB2 PVR250 one instead, does all the same stuff just externally. Shame tho, did like having it all in the case... But then again, these things get really hot so having that cooking inside the Sugo might have made the already hot stuff even hotter!

Not seen this on a SUGO but other PCI cards/cases Iv'e tried had fit issues with the pci card backplates.

Have a real close look at the fit of the bottom of the cards backplate into the case. Slight width, depth and bend problems on the metalwork can stop the cards going fully home or the matching slot in the case are not quite perfect.

Sometimes solved by 'adjusting' the card backplate or the case.
