I've always fancied building a SFF PC to replace replace a noisy and sluggish Dell desktop. This will be my first PC build. I've been trawling the OCuk forums and pikced up quite a few tips already :) but I need a bit more advice.

PC will be used for writing software, internet, media player for music. Not really a gamer and wont be overclocking. PC will have 2 TFTs attached and will run Vista 64-bit.

Budget £400-£450 (excluding monitors)

I've chosen the following so far but am confused about CPU cooling options and the choice of Motherboard. From what I've read the case doesn't have much room above the CPU.

- MB ??
- CPU Cooler ??
- Case: Silverstone SG01B-F
- CPU: E5200 Dual Core
- PSU: 500W Silverstone ST50EF-Plus-SC super silent
- Memory: 2 x 2GB Corsair
- Graphics Card: Ati 4670
- Disk: Samsung SpinPoint F1 SATAII 640GB
- Thermal Paste: Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound
- DVD Drive Samsung SH-S223F/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter

What Motherboard and CPU cooling solutions do you recommend for this SUGO SG01 case?

Got about £80 in the budget left for the MB and CPU cooler.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Silverstone NT06 for cooling, or the Intel stock cooler if noise doesn't bother you.

For motherboard, i'd have a look for a Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R as it's a good clocker so would help you get the most out of that E5200.

Getting it into £80 might be tough if you go with the NT06-E.
