Hiya, going to be building my new rig in a few days into a silverstone sg03 case...just got a quick question regarding cooling.
I've purchased a Silverstone NT06-E heatsink which will be cooled by a tagan TG800-BZ psu and i also want to fit a 90mm fan under the heatsink for additional cooling, question is..will the 90mm fan blowing upwards effect the cooling performance if the psu's fan is blowing down? I know i can switch the psu the other way..but what would offer the best airflow?

Thanks in advance :)

Will the psu blow down? I though they suck then exhaust out the back, so they draw air up through the silverstone cooler.
Having said that I dont have the silverstone cooler, my sg03 has the stock intel cooler with the psu fan facing outwards, so it draws air in through the grill.

The PSU will draw air from the case through the PSU and expel from the rear like m cozzy mentioned.

I stuck a coolmaster modular PSU in mine, very quiet and the modular design helps a lot. Also have a SG01 with a corsair modular PSU in it. Again very quiet PSU and modular cables are a blessing for a sff rig. Out of the two i prefer the coolmaster as i think the modular cables are of a better quality.

Just have the fan blow the same way as the PSU fan. As others have said, I think the PSU fan will blow air up and out of the case, so have the fan blow upwards as well.

Iv got an enermax modular psu in the sg03, you might find the main cable a little liong but the main fan helps with cooling the case.

Make sure your running 2 fans on the front too!
